A vector in physics is something that has a direction and magnitude. something going a certain speed in a certain direction is called a vector. This relates to baseball because in baseball the pitcher throws the ball at home plate and he needs to have a certain speed and directions to throw it at or the ball will be a bad one. To do this the pitcher must let go of a ball at a specific point and the ball will travel tan-gently from that point down to the plate. like for example, if a pitcher lets go up high the ball will travel higher then one that is let go at a lower point. also these pitches need to have a specific speed to keep the batter on edge.
2. If i wanted to have a high vector when should i release the ball?
